At least once per month, Horticulture Staff need volunteers to help plant annuals throughout Powell Gardens. Schedules for this opportunity will vary but will occur at least one week per month March-June with hours ranging from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Prior to your shift, volunteer coordination will send details on where and when to meet your staff lead for the day. They will work directly with you to plant annuals.

- Water (please no shareable food)
- Favorite weeding tool if you own one (not required; tools will be provided)
- Close-toed shoes
- Garden gloves
- Cushion to sit/kneel on to make weeding more comfortable, if needed
- Sunscreen, if needed
- Bug Spray, if needed
