Horticulture volunteers work hand-in-hand with our horticulture department, contributing to essential gardening tasks such as weeding, planting, soil preparation, and overall garden care. Your efforts directly enhance the beauty and vitality of Powell Gardens, making every visit unforgettable for our guests.

Volunteers are encouraged to commit to a weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly schedule, fostering a deeper connection with the gardens and our team.

Horticulture shifts are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with seasonal weekend opportunities depending on project needs.
