Family Frolics at Powell Gardens are a signature event offering activities, performances and learning for all ages. The theme of this event is Citizen Science, scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10. Volunteers are needed to help with the following:
- Assist with the craft station (seed bombs & pinecone bird feeders)
- Microscope helpers set up slides for kids
- Registration assistance in the Grand Hall
Ten volunteers are needed each day; five for each shift. The AM shift lasts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the PM shift lasts from 1-5 p.m. Dress is casual, though if you have a Powell Gardens name tag or any branded clothing, that would work great. Additional notes:
- Volunteers who serve for both the AM & PM shifts in one day will receive a complimentary meal
