Who We Are

Inspire Minds as a Garden Guide!

Garden Guides play a vital role in Powell Gardens’ education department, sparking curiosity and a love for nature through engaging school and summer programming. Field trips are held on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, offering children hands-on, nature-based learning experiences in the stunning surroundings of the Gardens.

What We Do

  • Inspire K-12 students through interactive, educational activities.
  • Walk up to 1½ miles per field trip, sharing the wonders of the Gardens.
  • Participate in one-hour monthly professional development sessions via Zoom to enhance your guiding skills.

We’re also seeking K-12 Assistant Garden Guides to provide additional support, ensuring every program runs smoothly and effectively.

If you’re passionate about nature, education, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of children, join our team and help grow the next generation of nature enthusiasts!
