The elements and principles of design are consistently evident not only in the visual arts, but also in garden design. To discover that beauty, "Docent Donna" Houtteman is completing a new series exploring gardens in the visual arts and their connections to Powell Gardens. This will conclude with an Artful Gardens After Hours, which needs volunteers to help with:
- Welcoming guests to the event
- Assisting in the gift shop
- Beverage support
Five volunteers are needed on Thursday, March 17 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Dress is casual, though if you have a Powell Gardens name tag or any branded clothing, that would work great.
