If you're interested in helping Scouts earn Merit Badges, we'd love for you to join us on Scout Weekend, Saturday, June 10 and Sunday June 11. Volunteers who serve during Scout Weekend will serve in one of the following capacities:
- Leading hikes on the Family Discover Loop
- Making eco pods or seed bombs in the Education Building
- Helping with microscopes and slides in the Education Lab
- Assisting with arts and crafts in the Grand Hall of the Visitor's Center
- Working at the Garden Design Table in the Perennial Lounge of the Visitor's Center
Morning and afternoon shifts are available on Saturday, June 10th and Sunday, June 11th. Staff will be on hand during the morning shifts and at the shift change to explain roles and responsibilities. If working two consecutive shifts, you are welcome to bring lunch or snacks and a reusable water bottle. A microwave and refrigerator are available in the Education Building and Visitor's Center.
