Under the supervision of Powell Gardens’ Festival of Lights display teams, volunteers will work to support the installation, placement and mounting of lights throughout the gardens. Help bring cheer to the gardens as you light the walkways, wrap trees and fixtures, and provide support in bringing new exhibits to life like the Light Labyrinth. Available dates include:
Tuesday, Sep. 13 from 9 a.m. to Noon
Tuesday, Sep. 20 from 9 a.m. to Noon
Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to Noon
Please Note: Volunteer work for this opportunity is physical and requires the ability to stand on uneven terrain, squat, use a ladder, lift a minimum of 20 pounds and more. If you have needs or accommodations as it relates to performing the above, email volunteer@powellgardens.org before signing up to determine if they can be made. Once your volunteer request is approved, you'll be connected to a staffer and volunteer team leader.
