If you like people, butterflies, social events or being outdoors, the 2021 Festival of Butterflies is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. As a Garden Guide, you will help:
- Share educational highlights with attendees (materials will be provided)
- Provide garden directions
- Regulate and monitor butterfly exhibit doors
- Protect butterfly and plant exhibits
Starting on July 21 and lasting until Aug. 8, volunteer shifts will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1-5 p.m. Please sign-up for as many as you want below. Special perks for those who complete multiple shifts — 8 or more hours — throughout the festival include:
- Free event T-shirt
- Free lunch (for those that work 2 shifts in 1 day)
- First choice of shift assignments
PLEASE NOTE: Garden Guide volunteers are required to complete 1 Butterfly USDA training session. Training will begin in mid-July.
