Help the Horticulture team organize and improve our storage space! We're looking for volunteers to assist with a large warehouse storage project by moving materials from an outdoor storage shed into a new building. As items are relocated, volunteers will also help count inventory and reorganize supplies to create a more efficient storage system.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Move supplies and equipment between storage buildings
- Count and inventory items during the move
- Organize materials for improved storage and accessibility
- Work alongside the Horticulture team to complete this one-time project
Volunteer Requirements
- Comfortable working outdoors in both sun and shade
- Able to lift and carry objects of varying weights, including some heavier items
- Detail-oriented and able to accurately count inventory
- Enjoys organizing and working as part of a team
What to Bring
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Gardening or work gloves
- Closed-toe shoes
Arrival Instructions
Please check in at the front desk and ask for a Greenhouse Lead, who will direct you to the project site.
Shift Dates & Times
- July 10, 14, & 15
- Morning Shift: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Afternoon Shift: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
