Help welcome guests to Powell Gardens during our most whimsical event of the year—Festival of Butterflies! As a Greeter, you’ll be stationed at a key location at the Visitor Center and offer a warm welcome, answer questions, and help guests make the most of their visit.

Check-In Details:
When you arrive, please check in at the Visitor Center. Either the Manager on Duty or a member of the Development Team will greet you at the Membership Table in the Grand Hall, assist with sign-in, and guide you to the staff/volunteer breakroom, where you will receive two admission passes as a thank-you for your support!
Greeter Responsibilities:

Distribute daily maps and festival programs

Share helpful info about daily activations such as butterfly releases, performances, and educational stations

Provide directions to major attractions like the Conservatory, Butterfly Meadow, Plant & Insect Lab (featuring our new observation beehive!), Children’s Garden, and more

Inform guests of any garden closures or temporary restrictions

Direct visitors to restrooms, water stations, shaded areas, and dining locations

Create a warm, approachable atmosphere that enhances the guest experience
