Who We Are

Powell Gardens is the Kansas City region’s botanical garden, where nature, education, and stewardship come together. We are dedicated to connecting people with plants through beautiful display gardens, engaging seasonal events, hands-on learning opportunities, and community programs.

What We Do

We care for 175 acres of cultivated and natural landscapes, while also leading efforts in horticulture, education, and regenerative practices that inspire a deeper appreciation for the natural world and encourage sustainable living.
