Volunteer: Daffodil Survey - Volunteers Needed!

Calling All Daffodil Fans!

We’re looking for individuals or small groups to help us survey daffodils as they bloom throughout the Gardens this spring. Our goal is to survey each garden area at least once a week during the daffodil blooming period—and we can’t do it without your help!

It’s a big (but fun!) job, so gather your friends or family and enjoy the beauty of early spring while making a meaningful impact.

Dates & Times

Flexible days

Preferred hours: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Meeting Location

Grand Hall, Visitor Center
Powell Gardens will be closed to the public, so please use the business entrance.

Upon arrival, volunteers will:

Be assigned a garden area to survey

Receive a list of daffodil cultivars to identify

Use a photo ID guide and map for reference

Volunteers will identify daffodils, estimate counts when possible, and mark locations on their map. A brief training will be provided before heading out to your assigned area.
